Letter from the President

_____________________________________________

Welcome to MEDi 2008, a major Conference and Exposition focusing on the medical device and medical device manufacturing sector of our economy. MEDi 2008 is designed to not only provide information regarding the latest advances in medical technology , such as Nanomedicine, Drug Delivery Vehicles, Drug/Device Combination products, Robotic Surgery, Orthopedic Implants and Prosthetic Devices, Artificial Organs and eHealth, it also addresses the important issues/challenges related to the manufacture and commercialization of these devices . We invite you to join us for this very special event and hope that you plan to be there!

MEDi 2008 will be the major SHOW for the medical device and medical device manufacturing industry in the Northeast. It is scheduled for September 9-10, 2008 in the new Connecticut Convention Center in Hartford, CT. Located equidistant from the major urban centers of Boston and New York, it offers the opportunity for corporations and individuals to engage in a meaningful exchange of information and contacts at a reasonable cost and at a time in the year when the Northeast is at the height of its natural beauty. Therefore, if you are interested in a value proposition that maximizes your marketing dollar and at the same time enjoy this tranquil environment, you need to plan to attend.

MEDi 2008 will also be the venue for International contacts. The recent inauguration of direct flights from Amsterdam to Hartford has made travel between major international centers, especially Europe and Hartford more convenient. It is our expectation that the Exhibit Floor at MEDi 2008 will be the location of pavilions which will house medical device and medical device manufacturing entities from international communities interested in establishing partnerships with US companies that will be mutually beneficial. Therefore, if you are interested in expanding their business to the Global marketplace MEDi 2008 is the place to be.

MEDi 2008 will also enable entrepreneurs to display their wares. There will be a separate pavilion “INNOVATION STATION” that will feature approximately 25-30 new innovations, i.e. products that are in the various stages of development .Therefore, if you are an investor interested in exploring new product development projects MEDi 2008 is the place to be.

On a final note, from an educational perspective the MEDi Conference program will be extremely beneficial to faculty and students interested in pursuing new ideas and career opportunities. Therefore those looking to the future of the industry should be there.

Look forward to seeing you at MEDi 2008!

Best wishes,
