'Early Bird' registration is now open for MEDi
2008, the comprehensive medical device
conference and exhibition at the new Connecticut
Convention Center in Hartford, Tuesday and Wednesday,
September 9-10.
"Early Bird conference registration (www.MEDi2008.com)
rewards those registering before July 2 with substantial
savings,” said Joseph Bronzino PhD, PE, president of the
BioMedical Engineering Alliance & Consortium (BEACON,

and producer of MEDi 2008. Full Conference
registration is now available for $495 including all
conference sessions, all meals, and admission to the
exhibit floor ($595 after July 2), with BEACON members
able to subscribe now for $445 ($535). A special
Government/Non-Profit/Academic conference package is
also now available for $250 ($325).
The two-day MEDi 2008 conference will
offer viewpoints and insights from industry leaders on
the latest developments and commercial deployment
strategies in nanomedicine, drug delivery vehicles,
drug/device combination products, robotic surgery,
orthopedic implants and prosthetic devices, artificial
organs and eHealth. Concurrently, MEDi 2008's
exhibitor floor will showcase new products and
demonstrations from companies, OEM Manufacturers, early
and mid stage medical device companies and research and
development organizations.
